These “RN to BSN” programs offer the knowledge and experience of a registered nurse with exposure to new advance technologies.

Nurses actively engaged in RN to BSN programs also enjoy the opportunity to start their business and management skills. In addition to the medical training they gained during their original nursing program, BSN degree candidates improve their critical thinking, leadership, and management skills.

As a result, RN to BSN degree holders qualify for some of the best jobs in the rapidly expanding nursing field. As floor supervisor, a BSN graduate oversees care for an entire unit of patients while mentoring and training new nurses. Other RN to BSN degree holders put their liberal arts skills to work as entrepreneurs, running temporary nursing staffing agencies, home care services, and other health care-related small businesses.
